Director of DDA Programs

Description:This is a senior management position requiring general and specific knowledge of intellectual disabilities, mental health, community based programming methods and business management. The position involves development, coordination, supervision, administration and evaluation of services lines and participation in the organizations senior management team.
Duties:Program Oversight
•Provide leadership, organize, monitor and evaluate Way Station’s operational structure for the following programs:

DDA Day Program - Pathways
Integrated DDA/PMHS Program - Sojourn
DDA Residential - Odyssey
DDA Supported Employment

•Recruit, hire, train and supervise the following positions:
Pathways Program Supervisor, DDA Residential Program Manager, DDA Supported Employment Program Supervisor

•Review credentials, experience and performance of staff to grant privileges for performing duties of job description at time of hire and annually

•Ensure program staff receive appropriate training/professional development including all DDA/ CARF required training and timely client specific training

•Oversee information management systems to produce accurate information for reporting, evaluation, planning and decision making purposes for assigned programs

•Oversee referral, enrollment, service delivery and service closure to ensure service provision in line with mission and principles of Adult Services

•Assure current, accurate and complete documentation for assigned program areas

•Oversee mediation of programmatic activity and needs

•Maintain compliance with applicable licensing, accrediting and funding standards related to WSI programs; develop and implement corrective action plans

•Design and implement new program services and quality improvement systems to meet the changing needs of clients and changes in health care delivery system

•Develop and manage assigned program budgets; monitor utilization, revenue and costs of assigned program areas

Qualifications:•Possession of a master’s degree in related field or bachelor’s degree and work experience which uniquely qualifies the individual for the job

•Four years positively referenced administrative and supervisory experience

•Valid driver’s license or alternative transportation plan
